Innovation through Design Sprint

Helvetic Care, an ambitious company with the vision of enabling older people to live self-determined lives, embarked on a creative journey with us. At the core of our joint Design Sprint session, we discovered that the needs of older people largely resemble those of younger generations: the desire for community, uncomplicated access to expert knowledge, and quick information on topics related to self-determined living.

A Fresh, Modern Approach

The prototype developed in the Design Sprint was thoroughly tested by potential users – older people and their relatives. The direct feedback made it clear: the design must be modern and fresh, put people at the center, and involve trustworthy partners to strengthen confidence in the offering.

Collaborative Solution Development

In an intensive work week, portal specialists, designers, and clients collaborated on the foundation of the new portal. This collaborative process led to the definition of the design, the structure of the most important pages, membership options, and the benefits of a paid membership. The business case was also carefully elaborated.

Key Results and Future Vision

The result of this intensive week was the development of key website elements, an improved model for presenting elderly care institutions, a prospectus for potential partners, and a detailed implementation plan including the business case.

Looking Ahead

We look forward with excitement to the further developments of Helvetic Care. The foundation for a portal that enables older people to live self-determined lives in a community of like-minded individuals has been laid. This project demonstrates the importance of placing design and user feedback at the center of product development to create solutions that address real needs and enable positive change.
