The Eleveneye team had a vision: to fundamentally simplify the exchange of information between patients and hospitals through a digital solution. This idea, inspired by Linus Pauling's quote that not only the quantity of ideas counts, but above all their quality and feasibility, formed the starting point for a transformative journey in the healthcare sector.

From Idea to Tangible Prototype

To assess the viability and value of this idea, Eleveneye approached us for a Design Sprint. Within three intensive days, our team focused on optimizing communication between patients and hospitals – from appointment scheduling and access to procedure information to filling out personal data. Using Design Thinking methods, we not only developed innovative solutions but also an initial prototype that made the idea tangible.

The Importance of a Realistic Prototype

Fabio Schmieder, who moderated the Design Sprint, emphasized the importance of a prototype that must be as realistic as possible to enable authentic feedback. Surprisingly, some test subjects were so convinced by the prototype app that they immediately wanted to download it – without realizing that it was merely a prototype.

Validation and Cooperation Opportunities

This prototype allowed the Eleveneye team to validate the app not only with potential users but also with hospitals and doctors. The feedback was essential to recognize the app's potential from various perspectives and to concretize cooperation with the healthcare sector.

Founding of heyPatient and the Path to Market Launch

Thanks to the insights and contacts gained through the prototype, Eleveneye succeeded in securing a project partner and founding heyPatient AG. As a technology partner, we are proud to have contributed to the development of the heyPatient app, which is now available in the App Stores. An extensive integration project with a Swiss hospital is nearing completion.
